At 50RH, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with when you visit our marketing site (50rh.com) or use our monitoring platform (app.50rh.com).
1. Information We Collect
Marketing Site (50rh.com)
- Contact form submissions: Name, email, company name, number of units, and message when you request a demo or reach out to us.
- Newsletter signups: Email address when you subscribe via our footer form.
- Analytics data: Page views, session duration, CTA interactions, scroll depth, and general browser/device information collected via Google Analytics 4. This data is aggregated and not linked to your identity.
- Cookies: Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. See the Cookies section below.
Monitoring Platform (app.50rh.com)
- Account information: Name, email address, company name, and password (hashed — never stored in plain text).
- Property information: Building addresses, unit numbers, and other property details you provide.
- Sensor data: Environmental readings from installed sensors including humidity, temperature, and related metrics transmitted via your WiFi network.
- Usage data: Actions taken within the platform (login events, dashboard interactions, alert configurations) used to provide and improve the service.
- Billing information: Payment details are handled directly by Stripe. We store only a Stripe customer ID — we never see or store your full card number.
- Error data: Crash reports and stack traces captured by Sentry when errors occur in the application. These may include browser version, OS, and the page state at the time of the error.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To respond to demo requests and sales inquiries
- To send newsletters and product updates you've opted into
- To provide, operate, and maintain the 50RH monitoring platform
- To generate real-time alerts and environmental insights for your properties
- To improve our detection algorithms and risk-scoring models using aggregated, anonymized sensor data
- To process billing and manage your subscription via Stripe
- To diagnose and fix software errors via Sentry
- To understand how the marketing site is used so we can improve it (Google Analytics)
We do NOT:
- Sell or rent your personal information to any third party
- Use your sensor or property data for advertising
- Share your data with data brokers or ad networks
- Track you across other websites or applications for advertising purposes
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following trusted third-party services to operate our platform. Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.

None of these providers are permitted to use your data for their own advertising or marketing purposes beyond what is described in their respective privacy policies.
4. Cookies
Our marketing site (50rh.com) uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and measure site usage. No cookies are used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
- _ga — Distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_XXXXXXX — Maintains session state for GA4. Expires after 2 years.
You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-onor by adjusting your browser's cookie settings.
The monitoring platform (app.50rh.com) uses session cookies for authentication only. These are strictly necessary and expire when you log out or your session ends.
5. Data Security
- Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text
- Data is encrypted in transit via TLS/HTTPS
- Authentication tokens use short expiration windows with refresh token rotation
- Session idle timeout after 30 minutes of inactivity
- Access controls limit data access by user role
- Error monitoring via Sentry with sanitized payloads
6. Data Retention
We retain your account and property data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Sensor readings are retained to power historical trend analysis within the platform. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months per our GA4 configuration.
7. Your Rights
You may request to:
- Access or export a copy of your data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Delete your account and associated data
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email

8. Geographic Scope
50RH currently operates and serves customers in the United States only. Our marketing site is accessible to US visitors only. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals outside the United States.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve. We will notify you of significant changes through the platform or by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects when the policy was last updated.
